Here's an interesting article. It appears that Pete Townshend wasn't lying and is innocent. Supposedly he was in contact with the Internet Watch Foundation and was reporting these things. The IWF initially denied that they had been in contact with him, but now they have admitted they did and Pete has email evidence to back it up.
I really hope this is true, Townshend really doesn't seem like the kind of person who would do that kind of thing. At least I hope not.
i hope this clears Pete, because it would be the end of rock-n-roll wihout Pete around anymore. And if was doing the things he's charges with, why would he contact the iwf, that is reason enough to clear him If he was posessing and distributing child porn images, i would say the last thing he would do is contact the iwf. Long live Pete.
